About Us

The organizer of this page—upon moving to the City of Springfield, Missouri—once remarked "they should just give you a book when you move here. It should have all of the resources that you need. They should call it Welcome to Springfield, Everything is Now Your Job."

And while the organizer has mellowed a bit, the truth of the statement still stands. Springfield works on a mostly reactive system. And citizens don't always know how to use that system. It can all be frustrating. There are a lot of things left up to average citizens. But there are also a lot of state, city, and private resources that can help our citizens and our neighborhoods.

Do you ever feel like you spend all of your time searching for the tools you need? You know resources exist, you just can't find them when you need them? Neighborhood leaders and residents shouldn't have to spend all of their time searching for online resources.

Are you a Neighborhood Leader? A Community Organizer? Just a resident of the City of Springfield who needs help?

Whoever you are—you've come to the right place.  We don't promise to be a perfect resource. Our goal is simply to pool as much knowledge as we can into one place with the goal of helping all of our Springfield neighborhoods rise up.

Some of these resources will be very helpful with neighborhood crime & watch issues. Others may help in dealing with nuisance. And it's very possible that we've missed some things. We'll keep maintaining this site, and we'll add resources as we go.  The general idea is just to give you a resource to bookmark so that you can find it when you need it—or to give you a list of links to open on your device as you research issues in your area.

We are not affiliated with the City of Springfield or any other entity.  We are a completely volunteer created and maintained resource.
